Onsite CDM one day awareness training courses – we come to you!
Our one-day standard CDM awareness course is delivered by the top CDM people in the UK.
We combine tutorials, interactive workshop exercises, and multi-choice tests to provide delegates involved in the construction process with an understanding of the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations. We incorporate the changes introduced by the 2007 Regulations. We also look at Corporate Risk Management with awareness of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 and recent case law.
Delegates are provided with a good understanding of the general Health & Safety requirements under the law and how these apply to themselves, other parties, and their organisations and teams involved in the construction industry.
Understanding is provided of the roles and responsibilities of the Client, Designer, CDM Co-ordinator, Principal Contractor and Sub-Contractors and their statutory duties to comply with CDM. The F10 Notification to the HSE and its Statutory Declaration is explained.
We also look at the statutory documentation and information flows and consider content for Health & Safety plans and files and asset management.
Delegates will also receive an overview of other relevant legislation including Work at Height and an understanding of the latest HSG Guidance on Asbestos Management and Surveying under HSG264.
